New Chandelier ...

Our new home is a work in progress. We love what improvements we've been able to make so far and we're so grateful to be in this home. Living in this home has been fun for us and for the kids who play for HOURS outside digging in the dirt and making up games on the trampoline. That said, there remains a long "wish list" of home improvement projects.

This past week we crossed one off the list as our new crystal dining room chandelier arrived from Pottery Barn. We've had our eye on it for a while and finally sold our monster TV from the last house to make the purchase. Tim spent the better part of a Saturday afternoon putting it together while Tara and I shopped for another project I've been working on.

Isn't it pretty? Makes me happy. ;-)

PS: The best part about exercising delayed gratification in our home improvement schedule? We have the time to make sure what we purchase is really what we want. ;-)
