Not sure what the boys ate ... maybe its too much Vitamin C in the sippy's ... but, both boys woke up with poopy bottoms. For Will, this isn't too far out of the norm because he is not potty trained. For Jared, not so much. He still wears a pull-up at night, but it totally potty trained during the day. Nothing like starting your day with a poopy pull-up, necessitating a double toddler shower. Gross!
Anyway... Will has had a diaper rash for a few days now and Jared must have heard us talking about it. While drying off under a warm stack of towel ls this morning, Jared looks at the diaper cream and says,
"Mommy, my bottom hurts. I think I have a pull-up rash."
Where do they come up with this stuff? Too funny.

Note to self: "Don't leave toddlers unattended in the bathroom to get dressed on their own while trying to write a blog about the quote of the day."
Just as I was pressing, "send," Will walked into my office with a tube of diaper rash cream (the non-water soluble super messy, white kind) and a fistful of white cream. Upon further inspection, I discover Jared on the counter trying to wash cream off his hands in just a shirt (covered in white cream) with a bare bottom (also covered in cream). Apparently, he found it necessary to apply what he referred to as, "pull-up cream" to the offending area. Good thing I already had laundry started!
Imagine the possibilities this day holds when we've already had all this fun before even eating breakfast!! Ha, ha! Never a dull moment at the Barrett's! ;-)
