Today was another big day at the Barrett house. Jared had his first big T-ball game today! The weather was perfect, the kids were adorable, and Jared did a great job. Although, these 8 and 9am games on our Saturdays are going to be a big shift from the way we normally get going in the mornings, its going to be tons of fun.
Each team had two rounds at bat and two in the field. Jared handled 3rd base the first go-round. Tim was proud as this used to be his position. ;-)
It's so funny to watch every kid in the field go after every ball. Hysterical, too, because they don't yet have any idea what to do with it, once they actually recover it! Thankfully, Jared remembered our warning not to tackle any of his teammates when they get to the ball first.

How happy is Jared? Great game and a treat at the snack bar to celebrate. I'm thinking he just might be hooked. ;-)PS: Let me know if you want the game schedule. We'll be playing early on Saturday mornings through May.
