Jared is seriously loving pre-school again this year. It is amazing the leap forward he has made developmentally in these few short weeks. Compared to last year, he is very much into taking his time with his work and writing and coloring pictures inside the lines and drawings (instead of scribbles) ... its been so cool to watch. His pre-reading skills are really taking giant strides, as well. He's rhyming like nobody's business and can sound out three letter words. He brings home TONS of projects from school that we enjoy hearing about - lots of bible stories, letter work, and sign language skills to show us. Its been fun to see him teach Will things when he gets home and, at least every day he sits down to write out something to someone. Sometimes its a thank-you note for Mrs. Achterkirch or yesterday, it was a list of his favorite cars for Joshua.
The big news today was that they are gearing up for a CIRCUS in a week and a half. Jared gets to be a tightrope walker. How fun is that? ;-)
