The New House ...

We MOVED. Again. (While pregnant!)

We are seriously loving the new home. And although we thought the last home was the last stop for a while we are feeling so blessed to be here. We were able to really look at tons of options and were able to settle on one that had all the majors items we wanted - and a lot of the little features that are just extra bonuses! The new abode is a single-level, 4 bedroom ranch style in Moon Valley with a HUGE lot and deep pool. It was a definite fixer-upper and we have a long ways to go on several projects we'd like to tackle someday, but we are so grateful to be here! The layout of the home is fabulous and we were not deterred by the ugliness of the finishes on our first walk-through. We nicknamed it the "Green Dream" as we were praying and trying to figure out how to make it our home. Can you guess why from the before pics??

After closing we took a few weeks to have some work done to cover some of the basics ... here are the pics ...

There was a step down we filled and some AWESOME green carpet that had to go ... here's what it looks like now from the same view ...

Despite the green carpet (and matching green baseboards) we LOVED the great room with the vaulted ceilings. Seriously - look at that huge counter. Can't you just see all the Barrett boys lined up for meals?? ;-)

The floorplan is split - our master is at the front of the house when you walk in. This is the before pics - same awesome step down and green carpet - complete with matching green chair rail and wallpaper ...

All in all we are constantly reminded that every good and perfect gift is from above ... daily the Lord is providing for ALL of our needs according to his riches.

This is going to be a great place to raise our family!
