I'm finally getting around to posting a few last pictures of our inaugural St. Francis soccer season ...
I did hear that Will did score a goal, though, this season - not bad for being 3!! Unfortunately, it was the Saturday I was in the hospital with baby Caleb so I missed it, but I think the intro to the sport this year was great. Next year, he'll have his own rookie team since Jared will move up. I'm already looking forward to seeing how that goes!
Will, Stone, & Jared with the post-game treat.
Me and my fellow soccer-mom friend, Lindsay, with our boys.
Cousin Cullen and the boys - they adore him!
Jared's happy face - he had just scored a goal!
Aunt Kelly & Will ...
The Barrett family ...
Will and his new friend, Johnny Bianchi ...
After the last game we had a post-season celebration at Streets of New York. The boys had a blast at their pizza party with all their new soccer friends.
The dads had a great time too with some celebratory pitchers. We definitely scored with the "fun team." I think we enjoyed the other parents as much as our boys enjoyed their kids. Tim and these three dads pretty much closed out the party ... pretty sure they sat here just like this, refilling and emptying those pitchers, for over two hours. Impressive with a room full of little boys!
Soccer was fun, but its also nice now that its over to get a little Saturday morning break for a while. Up next ... T-ball!
