Costumes!

My sweet Aunt Cathy treated the boys to some seriously cute Halloween costumes for the boys this year. She figured they needed a fun little reward for being such good big brothers to one month old Caleb so she came up with the idea to let them pick out their costumes online at Pottery Barn and track their shipping journey to us. It was a much welcomed distraction as we adjusted to life with a newborn!

We took them trick-or-treating for the first time this year. Neither boy really knew what to do at first. In years past we've done more "harvest party" type events. It didn't take long though to get them warmed up - by house number 3 they were pretty much experts.

We spent the evening on Rose Lane with the Mahoneys. Here is my Uncle Jim doing the "bounce" with Caleb. After checking out some of the block parties, the boys trick-or-treated a few of their neighbors with our cousin, Cullen. I stayed in and fed the baby and we all watched Game 4 of the Giants vs. the Rangers World Series. Fun family night.
