Fun Friday at the Aquarium ...

Thanks to Groupon we celebrated Fun Friday last week at the Sea Life Aquarium at Desert Mills Mall. I've been meaning to take the boys there since they opened, but just now had a good enough reason to make the drive - half price tickets!

My sweet friend, Michelle, being the thrifty teacher-mom she is, also took advantage of the Groupon so we were able to go together (the day before our tickets expired!).

Michelle's son, Jacob, with Will & Jared...

Will ...

LOVE the touch tanks. The boys (and their moms) got to
touch starfish, sea cucumbers, feather dusters, and scare
away shrimp. It was so cool to let them be so hands on.

My little seeker (Will) touched EVERYTHING!

Michelle and Jacob...

Jared touched stuff too, but he was REALLY into
the trivia questions/game they gave us to play.
Such a studious one, this boy!
The underwater tunnel - totally surrounded by glass.

See through domes. They had several of these. The boys
loved crawling under the tunnels to be IN the fish tanks!

Family Pic (take 2 - take 1 was deleted because
a certain #1 son was picking his nose!)

PS: How CUTE are Caleb's thighs???
Thanks Groupon! And, thanks boys, for making me a mom. I love getting to take you places to show you new things and learn about the amazing world God created for us. I love that the "zoo that is underwater" is one of your favorite things to do. As our family has grown, its true the opportunities to take our little field trips have decreased as it is easier for everyone to stay closer to home. That fact just makes me all the more grateful when we do get to do things like this. You were so appreciative this day and we had so much fun. Love that.

So did you think that aquarium was worth the drive and the $$ (even though you used a Groupon)?

I thought so - more so because I was able to carpool with my friend and visit along the way. I love aquariums. You are so much closer to the WWZ, so for you - that one is probably better.
