Will's Birthday Celebration(s) ... Part 2

For Will's birthday, we had some family and close friends (mostly neighbors) over to celebrate. It was so fun that Tim's parents were here with us. Tim's mom is a total saint when it comes to helping us get ready for parties (that it seems like we almost always have when they are here). What a blessing they are to us.

These are our parents. Good looking group, eh? From left to right: Poppy & Gigi (my folks) and Grandma Kim & Papa Bob (Tim's folks)

The kids' table ...

The froggy pool made a comeback (thanks, Grandma Bertie!) ... quite the perennial favorite.

Getting ready for the main event ... oh the anticipation ...

Will was hilarious when we sang Happy Birthday to him. He wasn't quite sure what to do with all the attention ...

Ready to dive into that cake ...

Will hamming it up with the fellas ... showing off his chocolate mouth ...

More fun at the water table ...

The Bentleys & the Hardings with sweet baby Judah

My wonderful neighborhood friends ... love these ladies (check out cute AmyLynn's cupcake face).

Gigi made this cute "2" shirt for Will - custom order. Jared is already looking forward to his "4" shirt! I think we may have sparked a new tradition. I am so blessed that my mom is so crafty. She can seriously sew ANYTHING!

Probably the only quiet moment captured with Uncle Pat and Jared & Joshua. Total wrestle fest - the boys LOVED it. ;-)

Opening gifts ... do you see the fun tunnel/ball play area off to the right. Compliments of Grandma Kim and Papa Bob - so fun!

I love birthdays and I love excuses to have everyone over to hang. Never anything extravagant, but my hope is that they will make for memorable moments and that my kids will feel just how much they are loved by so many.

We are so blessed to have such great family and friends.
