Fillin' Jared's Cup ...

I have been reading the Five Love Languages of Children by Gary Chapman and have been so encouraged to pay closer attention to the love languages of my three men and learn to speak them well. I have heard so many times that children receive discipline best when their little love tanks are full. Tim and I are really trying to pay attention to filling their tanks.

Will is pretty easy - physical affection all the way. He runs to give hugs to total strangers and always finds his way into my lap. I love cuddling him.

Jared is a toss up between words of affirmation and quality time. Just like his cute daddy. Tonight, said cute daddy kept Jared up for some special one on one time. It was unbelievably precious. Jared was one happy boy.

Tim gave him the option to do anything he wanted. What did he ask for? To don matching cowboy hats and play cars and airplanes.

Could they be any cuter?

This is one happy boy.

Check out the boots with the Incredibles Pj's. Stylin. No one does helicopters quite like daddy.

Afterwards, they shared a special treat of homemade yogurt with granola and blueberries ...

...and talked about their days, school, and other important stuff.

Then Daddy took the time to read Jared a special story, he was in Heaven.

I am so blessed when Tim takes the time to fill our children's tanks. And, fill it full, he did.
