It was a fast read, one of those that you definitely don't want to put down until you've finished it all. I have to admit that it was so refreshing to read something like this - most of the books I pick up fall into the, "Lord, I need help to be a better parent" category.
Stepping Heavenward was published in 1869 by a daughter of a Puritan pastor. It is written as a journal of a girl from the age of 16 onto adulthood ... the story of her sanctification. It was a light read, yet so challenging as you see the growth of this young woman in her faith and trust and surrender to the will of God. If you enjoy Jane Austen, you will love this. Let me know what you think, k?
