Heavenly Host ... CovCom Christmas Pageant

Another Christmas Tradition ... the CovCom Christmas Pageant. Thanks to the fabulous Tracy Carson, all of our little ones get to take part in celebrating the birth of Christ in a traditional Christmas pageant. Little ones from 3 yrs old through kindergarten get to be part of the heavenly host announcing the birth of Christ to the Shepherds.

Jared knew his line pretty well this year! I told Jared that if he did a really good job this year, he could be an angel next year, too! (technically he has 2 more years ... we'll see if he catches on!) And, because he loves to do anything his big brother does, Will practiced in the car so he will be ready for his debut next Christmas.

Below are some pics of Jared with our wonderful pastor's wife, Anita Barnes, the multitude of angels, and the entire cast. I had to laugh at some of the pics of our little angels where Jared is messing with some of the little girls' wings. What a boy!! Aren't they all so sweet? Our church is blessed with a lot of young families and we are so happy to be among them.

My parents joined us to watch the play and, although, Jared was too burned out on pictures by the end to smile, he was so happy to see them! A few cookies shared afterwards made for the perfect end to a happy evening.

"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men" Luke 2:14
