Happy Father's Day Daddy!

We had a fun day celebrating our Daddy today ... there were homemade cards ...

With painting skills done by Will...

... and painting skills done by Jared with current favorite picture of him and his daddy ...

... and more cards by Jared (he said he wanted to make his Daddy "TEN CARDS") showing off his drawing skills. I love that Daddy is holding his hand on this one!

We took Daddy out for a special pre-church breakfast at one of his faves, Einstein's. (We LOVE going out to breakfast, but rarely do it - so this was a treat for us all!)

We had a nice church service, followed up by some great naps (well, the boys napped while Tim did his chauffeur duties for MPOne) and then a lovely dinner with my mom, DAD, brother, and sister to round out the day's festivities.

The night before we headed to Pine to have a pre-father's day celebration with the Utterbacks and the Riccios - a little Point Golf reunion of sorts before Micah and Melinda have their baby boy ... we BBQ'd, the kids did the paddle boat and the daddy's took them fishing while the mommy's had a quiet walk. It was a wonderful evening with great friends and cool weather ...

The boys even caught a few HUGE catfish ... that my little "seeker" Will had to pet of course! All in all - such a fun night ...

Happy Father's Day to my cute husband, a man not afraid to fish with a Barbie pole. I am so grateful you are the father to our sons and a leader to our family. I pray our boys would always imitate you as you imitate Christ and that together, we would all grow in wisdom and in the fear and knowledge of the Lord. I love you so much.

"A wise son makes a happy Daddy"
