Classic Kid Moment

So... I don't know if I should chalk it up to the remnants of potty training (because we are pretty well past that) or the brazenness of three year olds or to say it is just "boys being boys" ... but my son is not shy about some of the things the rest of us would be shy about. He takes great pleasure in peeing on bushes and rocks (not so much in peeing on his galoshes like he did today ... bummer, dude).

Anyway ... here I am today at the office ... I headed in this morning with my kids strapped to the stroller armed with a purse full of snacks and a backpack full of activities hoping to buy the time that would allow me to send out an email blast to the Valley brokers on one of our available properties. Tuesdays are my work day, but I forgot the power cord to my computer yesterday ... long story, don't ask. Anyway, this should have been a 20 minute deal and no problem ... but Murphy showed up and I was there for TWO HOURS fighting my technology.

You can imagine how well my 1 and 3 year old handled that! Will was squawking, "Mommy! Mommy!" ... he LOVES being strapped into the stroller for two hours (which, I can assure you was better than the alternative!) Jared was trying to be good. He colored, walked around my office, did stickers, we read a book and then finally ... I let him out of my office to talk with Karen, up front. He must have just finished using the potty, when I looked up and caught a glimpse of my little angel walking around the corner of Karen's desk with his pants down around his ankles, asking for a "wipe" ... I guess this would probably be a good time for some training in the modesty department, huh?

Most embarrassing moment ... well ... today.

There's always tomorrow.
