Cutest conversation with Jared today (and funny conversation later the same evening) ...

Earlier today ...

(Me Singing)

Jared: "Mommy, what are you singing about?"

Me: "Jesus and how much I really, really love Him."

Jared: "Jesus really, really loves you, too, Mommy."


Later, tonight a hmmm... funny? but not so inspiring conversation...

Background: bedtime with a 3 year old is always an adventure. Jared is constantly looking for excuses to dink around and delay sleep. He has figured out that the potty is a free pass and uses the, "I have to go poo poo" trick nightly.

After he has spent a while in there, I go and check on him ...

Me: "Jared, are you done? Ready to go back to bed?"

Jared: "Mommy, my poo poo's went down there."

Me: "Down where? The toilet?"

Jared: "No, Mommy. I didn't go poo poo. My poo poo's are stuck."

Me: "Bummer, wash your hands and get back INTO BED!"

Lord, help me truly BE in each and every one of these moments! They are flying by so fast!
