Messy Art ...

The more mess ... the more fun, right? If that is true, than my boys had a REALLY fun time this morning at our Thursday morning art class. Will doesn't quite have the hang of things yet ... he has more fun painting himself than the paper and the projects. And, yes ... he IS strapped into that chair and that IS one of Tim's shirts ...















The theme was outer space. We made rockets and globes ... Jared is a little more up to speed on the art projects, so he did a great job painting the project ... although he did really like gluing the table - which, was NOT part of the project. While we were painting his globe, we decided it was a good time to talk about his Genesis 1.1 memory verse ... such a smart boy! Here's a picture of him painting his really cool rocket space ship.















Your wouldn't believe how messy I was afterward, keeping up with these two is a dirty job ... I'm so glad I get to do it! Messy Hands!!














After we cleaned up (as best you can in a public restroom sink), we headed outdoors for some play time at the PV Community Center Park. If you haven't been there yet (and you have boys), you really have to go. They have some super dangerous climbing walls and ladders for the kids, it is awesome! Don't you just love January in Phoenix?? 75 degrees today - amazing!
