Like Father, Like Sons ...

In the fall in Arizona, we switch over the grass in our lawns. Summer bermuda is hard and tough and not always very green. I love when October comes and we get to plant the winter (rye) grass that will be bright green and soft all winter long. It's quite a project, switching over lawns - one that my cute husband tackled today thanks to having bankers holidays (Columbus Day - if you didn't know ;-)

My boys love working with their daddy. It's Pretty cute to look out and see them "working" with him. Before I knew it, they had both stripped their shirts off to be just like daddy. I'm so grateful they have such a good man to look up to. These boys are so blessed to have such a good daddy, one that he shows them how to do things and lets them "help" and encourages them to work side by side with him while he tackles projects - even though accepting the "help" means it will take twice as long to complete everything. The lessons learned and the confidence gained as these two little boys feel big and strong and important helping their dad with his work will last far beyond the grass they are planting in the process.

Thank-you Jesus.
