Yeah Women's Retreat

I had the privilege of attending our church's women's retreat this past weekend. What a blessing that was ... One full day and one night in beautiful Cave Creek with sixty precious ladies. The speaker, Pam Benton, was so encouraging - a pastor's wife for over thirty years and mom to three grown children who love the Lord and are raising 9 grandchildren to do so also. Can you say "covenant family"? This woman was the real deal.

My sister in law, Tanya, came into town from Seattle to join us. It was a great weekend ... lots of sunshine and pool time Friday, the retreat on Saturday and an encouraging morning at church Sunday and home group. I have a good life - it just doesn't get any better.




Speaking of the "real deal" ... here's a pic of us with another dear friend, Jill, after the retreat. God bless these two precious women for their sweet faith in the Lord and the way they have lived and are living it out for Him. I am so glad to be their friend.
