Its been a nice few days of un-seasonably cool weather. You know your kids are born and raised in Arizona when you let them eat breakfast outside in April and they complain about it being too cold ... AND you have to move them from the shade into the sun ... AND its almost 70 degrees outside.
Such was the case yesterday.
Following our "cold" outdoor breakfast we headed to the splash pad at Desert Ridge, where the Barrett boys and the Hanson girls had a great time playing (and shivering) in the water. Eventually, their low tolerance for the "cold" won out and we moved on. What a great morning us moms had, though, drinking coffee in the comfy chairs while the kids played.
Love that.
Ok... seriously, the yummy legs on Rowena! Could you just eat her right up???

Today was "Fun Friday", but you would not have known it if you were one of my children. Busy, busy cleaning up and running errands. We've had quite a lot on our plate lately.
Finally, though, we returned home for a quick lunch and some fun with our neighbors. Mikayla and Arianna Riccio came over to play and jump on the trampoline (I never stop thanking Poppi & Gigi for that gift that keeps on giving!). Their smart mommy brought over some bubble bath to spice up the water table play.
Bubbles in the water table?? How fun is that??
Love this time of the year in Arizona. Grateful for such good friends to enjoy it with ...
