Pumpkin Carving!

We carved pumpkins with those darling Riccio girls a few weeks back. So much fun! The kids played, then humored us by helping scrape out some of the pumpkin insides. After that, they colored pictures for each other, while Lisa and I did the carving.

Pumpkins turned out pretty cute. Turns out we weren't even home on the 31st to light the thing, but its all good as we had so much fun carving it and hanging out with the Riccio's in the process. Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure my kids don't know its supposed to be lit up on that night anyways ...

PS: its been such a warm "fall" here that Jared's pumpkin was spoiled before we even carved it. Will's went fuzzy 2 days after we finished it, too. That's "fall" in Phoenix for you!
