Last night over dinner, Tim asked the boys what their goals for 2011 were going to be. It took a little bit of effort to explain what a goal was ...Here are their goals:
Jared:
* I want to give presents away to kids that don't have any
* I want mom to print me bible pictures from the computer and I will color them and give them away as gifts.
* Also, I want to pick flowers for girls that don't have flowers but want some.
Will's goals:
* "Train tracks and trains" (Seriously, just that - trains and tracks)
* Kick the ball in the goal
* Do a good job at t-ball
* Help the baby to get big
And, finally, our personal favorite:
Will said he is going to "give goals to another girl and boy that has no goals".
Cute.
A few of my goals for 2011 ...
* Finish the Bible by April - I'm doing the 90 day plan with a few fudge factor days built in.
* Yell less and laugh more - We're hoping to host some sort of parenting small group (interested?)
* Get organized and get as much help as our budget allows to help things run smoothly over here at the Barretts
And to that end, tomorrow ... Will starts preschool!
