Will's 1st Day of Preschool!

So... on Monday I posted incorrectly that Will was starting preschool "tomorrow" - which would have been yesterday/Tuesday. Today - Wednesday - is actually his first day.

And he goes with a major battle wound - wearing a huge band-aid on his chin like a proud little soldier. More on that later.

I have to laugh thinking about Jared's first day compared to Will's. Not a lot of fanfare today for Will - despite my best efforts. I think partly because we're starting mid-year and partly because we have a lot going on, we haven't been able to provide all the hoopla. And, it's fine, I'm trying not to be disappointed in myself. I realize no one has expectations about this but me.

His new teacher, Mrs. Hayes, seems very sweet. She has a lot of little ones. Apparently, I wasn't the only mommy who thought it would be great to start a younger sibling mid-year!! There are 4 or 5 new ones, so Will won't be alone in learning the ropes.

Here is Mrs. Hayes trying to help Will with the "hello" song.

... and all the kids going through the pledges.

Will is in the red sweater/jeans. Aren't they all so cute!

I'll be praying for sweet Mrs. Hayes today. She definitely has her hands full!! I pray that Will would settle into the routine right away, that he would have fun, learn a lot, and quickly obey! Will is going to be attending Wednesday and Thursday mornings at PVCP, his room will be right across the hall from Jared and they'll share some of the same play times. I'm so grateful he gets to go to preschool. I know it will be a positive thing for him.

Now ... all I have at home is Caleb. Easy Peasy. Where do I start around here??
