Tim is gearing up for a big ride in a few weeks in Durango, Co. He is going to do the Iron Horse with my Uncle Pat and Aunt Kelly - 50 miles from Durango to Silverton over a few wicked mountain passes. As this event draws near, pretty much every weekend will be filled with serious road bike training!
Which, I must add, works out just fine for me and the boys. As my cute husband was biking his tail off the other weekend, working his way up the beeline highway ... we three zipped past him to visit the Utterbacks. The kids had a fabulous time playing together at the lake and riding bikes at the park. We even treated them to some Dairy Queen (although we did get the shaft on the $0.25 Blizzards!). Such fun for kids AND for Melinda and I to have a few hours to play!

Will had a GREAT nap on the way home! These kids were worn out from all the fun play time and sugary treats!As for my cute husband, he rode 40 miles on this first attempt. I was so proud of him. Although ... I think I am safe to say that the rest of us probably had more fun than he did ...
Can't wait to do it again ... hmmm ... maybe tomorrow? ;-)
