So... I promised some Big Brother shirt pics ...
Today, Jared dug out his Big Brother shirt AGAIN from the laundry basket. Not only for himself, but he also went into Will's room and picked out Will's outfit for the day. Matching shirts and shorts for the two of them.
Yes, I am one of those mom's who matches her kids' clothes. My Uncle Pat swears they will need therapy as a result ... I figure as long as they like it, I will go with it.
Anyway ... so here are the outfits Jared picked out for him and his brother today. Cute.
Will was cranky about taking pictures ... this is before I bribed them with some cookie bites Gigi gave them:

My first instinct has been to steal them away from the boys when Jared isn't looking. Now, I realize as time goes on I am getting more and more used to them. I guess as long as it makes them happy there is no harm really in letting them wear them as often as they'd like.
Any ideas?

Let 'em wear them! They are cute! AND they were and still are big brothers. It's just that their sibling is in heaven now :-)
And with the matching outfits, I used to do that when the boys were both wearing toddler sizes. But once Ryan went to big boy sizes, I couldn't match them anymore. I was sad! People would actually ask me if they were twins! Hello! They are 2 years apart!
Maybe that's Jared's way of processing through his sadness. Acknowledging that little life is important to him. I'm always shocked at how unbelievably wise and sensitive kids are. I think it's great that you are letting them have those shirts, I know it must be hard.
