Will is about to turn FOUR!!! His birthday is on July 31st and my sister, Kelly, is turning 34 on July 28th. Tonight we celebrated the two of them with a small family party...
Will was ready to dive into the cake before anyone even showed up!!
After pizza and drinks inside, we all migrated outside to visit and watch the boys swim ...
Uncle Pat and the girls got Will some CARS diving sticks and a sports set. This kid LOVES his soccer balls, footballs, you name it AND CARS!

Aunt Cathy & Uncle Jim got Will a snorkel and fin set to use in the pool. Can you tell he was excited about it??
And ... they made sure to pick one up for Jared too so he wouldn't be left out of the fun!
Uncle Jim carried Will to the pool and lowered him in to avoid risking another big ankle injury (Tim took Will to the Peds ER last night for x-rays on a suspiciously swollen ankle - he's all clear but still limping - ptl)

Jared gave Will his #4 shirt as a present. Will wore it for the first half of the party and then swimming with the intention changing into his new birthday shirt from Gigi when he was done out of the pool. The boys love their birthday shirts - my mom is so great for carrying on this tradition!

Yay for family! Will is having a "friend" swim party on Saturday morning with his friends and their parents. You can bet we all breathed a sigh of relief his ankle isn't broken and he won't be in a cast for it!!
