"Kool Kindergarten Kamp"

Have I mentioned lately how much I love Paradise Valley Christian Prep? I do. Tim and I seriously LOVE the school! It has been such a great experience for us this past year and a half.

We are excited for Jared to start school in one month as a KINDERGARTNER! His teacher was picked for us by the fabulous Mrs. Achterkirch, also known as my sweet friend Christine. She said we would love Mrs. Utz, that she was very organized and structured, and strong in Bible. Christine thought Jared would thrive under her style.

Sweet Mrs. Utz spread the word at the end of last year that she would do a one week "Kamp" with the incoming Kindergartners to get them ready for school so we signed up. On Monday, we rushed out the door to get there by 8am. Jared was nervous, but happy to see his bestie, Mikayla. Would you believe that Jared and Mikayla are the ONLY two students with the privilege of attending Kindergarten Kamp???

Neither can I.

This sweet woman is coming all week to spend two hours a day with our two lucky kids. I am beyond blessed.

This is Jared & Mikayla after the first day at "Kamp". The theme is ocean and Mrs. Utz has a coordinating memory verse, science experiments, and even snacks to go along with it.

Pretty sure Will wishes he could go to Kamp too! He's excited to start in August again with Mrs. Hayes.

After 2 hours had flown by, I returned to pick up this happy boy. He was sure it wasn't time to go yet as it had just passed by so fast!

Gosh. Aren't they darling?

I think its going to be a great year. This week is such an answer to prayer as I know its going to give Jared such a great foundation and confidence when he walks in the door on that first day. It takes him a while to warm up so this is just perfect. I am counting my blessings for sure. :-)
