Fun with Grandma & Papa...

We had a great time with Bob and Kim when they came in town for Caleb's first birthday. The first night they were in we celebrated their THIRTIETH wedding anniversary!


What a milestone! They make being married and in love for 30 years look easy - and we just love that about them.

While they were in town, Jared also had another swim meet ...

By this meet, Jared was starting to get the hang of really being ready to go when the buzzer sounded. He made it off the block with good speed. We were all blown away too by his butterfly! After just a few weeks of practice, this kids fly was looking good!

Bob and Kim enjoyed some pool time with the boys. The boys were thrilled to get them in the pool. So great to have such fun, young grandparents!

On Caleb's actual birthday we took him to the Phoenix Children's Museum for the first time ...

They have this air tunnel contraption that shoots out these soft pom-poms. We were able to position Caleb's stroller just right so that he was quickly covered in them.

Hilarious!

Bob and Kim, thanks for making these sweet boys such a priority that not even the 12 hour drive can come between us! You'll never know just how loved and special you make these boys feel. I know they will have the fondest memories of you when they think about their childhood.
