On Christmas Eve, for as long as I can remember, we have celebrated "Wigilia "
Polish pronunciation: [viˈɡilja] - meaning, "the vigil." My mom's family is polish Catholic, they have 5 siblings and we have lots of cousins on that side (coincidentally, all of them boys for the past 26 years - as pictured below!). At Wigilia, we share traditional Polish food and toasts of champagne and spend time as a family before Christmas.

The food this year, as usual, was delicious. Sad that we only get perogies once a year! If you've never had one, you are missing out! My Aunt Barb and her daughters, Lisa and Erika, took over this tradition upon my Babcia's passing 6 years ago and do a tremendous job!
I loved seeing my boys all dressed up again in their Christmas best.
The boys' favorite part, though, this year is probably wrestling with their Uncle Kinsey...

... and riding in the COBRA that my cousins have MADE with their dad - as detailed
here. The car is loud, and fast, and they were in little boy heaven to each get a ride - in the front seat no less!
