Lubby's Bible

Some mornings I get to read to Caleb from Kenneth Taylor's, Jesus in Pictures for Little Eyes. For a little one who has a hard time sitting still for long, this children's bible has been a blessing. It's amazing what he remembers. Yesterday, he walked into our room, looked up and pointed at the ceiling and said, "Men! Up dere (there)! Woof (roof)". He was telling me about the story he's reading in this picture titled, "Men Bring a Sick Friend to Jesus". His other favorites involve Jesus walking on water, and calming a storm ... "Jesus! Boat!".

I love that I get to be with him every day so when he recalls something and tells me about it, I usually know exactly what he's talking about. Since Anna Jean has been born, I haven't returned to my one day working outside the home. Little moments like this make me so GRATEFUL I get to be a stay at home mom and don't have to leave my littlest ones.

Today, when he was done looking at the pictures, Caleb shut his little Bible and said, "Bye, Bye Jesus."

I love this kid.
