Today's plan ...

... Was go to the beach. All. Day. Long. The boys are so happy to dig and splash for hours and hours. So today was the day to indulge that sandy delight to their hearts content. We picked Tim's favorite beach in Del Mar - powerhouse. It's perfect because parking isn't bad, there are facilities close, and it's a really short walk beyond any crowds. Watching these three boys play in the sand together was such a joy. Beautiful day. Gorgeous setting. Sweet family time. My heart was so full. Baby Anna was perfect. It's pretty unbelievable that she would nurse and sleep and hang all day. Even Caleb was a trooper and only had one big melt down-ish moment when we tried to take a walk. We tried to let him nap but he wasn't having it. The train tracks were just up the cliff from our spot and are way to exciting for a one year old to allow for a nap. They didn't go by too often but when they did it was pretty darn exciting! We finally packed up the boys around five and went back to the house to shower and eat dinner then came back again to the shore for an ice cream treat and to chase the sunset. I. Love. Today. And... I love my family. So blessed.
