Success!

When I found out Tim wouldn't be home until Sunday, my first words were, "No way I can go to church with all the kids without you!"  Terrible, isn't it?

I know my limits and I couldn't fathom how I could get everyone ready, and, even more troubling, manage them all at church without Tim's help!!  After thinking about it a while, though, I decided that if I could get help AT church that I just might be able to do it.  I called some dear friends and grandparents, Frank & Jimmye Dubuy, and enlisted their help for church.  And ... this morning, I did it.  I got all 4 ready without any meldowns (even me!).  I'm not going to lie, I was (am) pretty proud of myself.  I think I owe it in large part to my new morning devotional routine courtesy of Sara Young. (yes, I know - I'm a little late to the Jesus Calling party, but better late than never.  It is SO GOOD!)

Before we loaded into the car I had to take a picture as they were so cute!

Love sister's dress.  :-)

She is a great church sleeper.

My suspicions were confirmed that I could NOT have made it through church with four under six without help.  Frank and Jimmye were amazing.  As soon as we walked into CovCom, Anna was hungry and started to cry so I was able to go feed her while the Dubuys kept the boys in worship.

I have to laugh though as the Lord won't let me wallow in pride very long.  Of course this was the day that Will did the walk of shame and was returned to church from Children's Worship for being disruptive!  It was classic as his partner in crime's daddy was ALSO up in Flagstaff.  Figures.  That stinker.  Frank stepped right up and escorted Will to apologize to his teacher.  Men.  How we need strong ones to help raise our children properly.

I'm grateful to have a strong one leading ours and looking forward to getting mine home!
