Our good friend, Alishia, treated us to the morning at the Phoenix Children's Museum today. We had sooo much fun - they boys (and I) can't wait to go back! For all of you Phoenicians, this is a "must do" spot. Really, more that you can do in one day ... some of the highlights (pics from the Phoenix Children's Museum website):
Will favorite was the Market - he loved pushing his own cart, putting the groceries in it, playing checkout clerk ... I always forget that he is growing up so fast and still think of him as our "baby". It was good for me to see just how aware he is and READY for imaginative role playing games. He loved it!

Jared's favorite was the "Texture Cafe". They have several kid sized kitchens and a stone pizza oven with different fabric pieces to make up pretend food for cooking. J is my helper in the kitchen ... this was right up his alley.

Jared said his second favorite was the noodle forest. Exactly what it sounds like ... an entire area with pool noodles suspended from the ceiling. Will was very cautious at first - it would be a little intimidating to a kid because you get totally lost inside. After checking it out for a bit, he decided it was great fun and went in full steam.

After wearing ourselves out with those cute Hanson girls doing all of the above, PLUS art projects, "washing windows", playing with sand, and experimenting with ball contraptions ... we met Daddy for a picnic at Heritage Square. Pretty much the perfect cap to a toddler's dream morning.
Jared's comment - let's do it again tomorrow!
You know we had a fun morning when Will barely makes it out of the parking lot before trying to nod off...
