... from your bathroom?
Phoenix First Assembly Church sets off fireworks during their Sunday evening service the weekend before the 4th every year. Due to our close proximity to them and being on a hill, we usually have a great view - last year we watched from the roof of our backyard patio.
This year our good friends, Mark & Tiffany Harding, came over to watch the celebration with us. We climbed out our bedroom window with our homemade cookies (thanks, Tiff!) and our wine and realized our neighbors tree has grown much larger than we remembered it to be last year.
Ever flexible ... we piled back inside and enjoyed the show from our master bath. Quite a view from our bathroom!
While it worked... sort of. Something about the awesomeness of fireworks gets lost in translation when you watch them from indoors.
Maybe next year we'll plan a little better! ;-)
