This picture cracks me up.
Jared cut open his toe running barefoot on some rocks (they had thrown) on our basketball court. It was a pretty gross owie ... the kind where the skin peels back and bleeds like crazy.
After dressing the wound with ointment and a bandage, I had him put his foot up to try to stave off the bleeding. Of course, if Jared has his foot elevated with the help of some pillows ... Will needs his foot elevated on pillows, too.
Makes you realize what a big responsibility for leadership the first born carries ... both for the first born and also for us, as parents, to never tire in "encouraging" them in all possible ways to set a good example.
Jared ... oh how your little brother adores you and wants to be just like you, he is always looking up to you. I am so glad that YOU are the first born leader ... I know you are going to set a great example for Will and all that follow after him. Love you.
