I was tipped off a while back to a great deal on some new kids aprons at Goodwill by Melinda (Thanks, Meme!!) When I went to check them out I happened to go during some 50% off special - SCORE!!
I purchased four these cuties for $0.75/each. (2 for home, 2 for Flagstaff)
My beautiful and talented Aunt Barb personalized them with the boys' names and some fun animals. I can't believe how cute they turned out!
The boys really love to help me cook and now they really love to wear their new aprons while doing so.
Thanks Aunt Barb!!

This morning we made some "cheater" muffins for breakfast.

The boys each take turns stirring.

Will really likes it when it is his turn. ;-)

It is a "challenge" to get all the batter in the tins before they start "sampling" their handiwork.

Will gave me this face when I took away the empty bowl and whisk to wash - I thought it was because he still wanted to taste the batter...

Turns out he kept jamming his chubby knee between the wide part of the back of the chair and getting it stuck. Silly boy. No doubt we went through this little exercise about 3 times before I finally cut him off!

After breakfast, we made some fresh bread. This is more fun for them to help with because there is lots of measurements to assist with.
Thanks again Aunt Barb!! We LOVE the aprons!
PS: After battling through bread again today with my Kitchen-Aid stand up mixer, I finally broke down and started pricing the Bosch's. I found a good deal on a combo Bosch Universal Plus with Blender, Nutrimill grinder, plus some extras at Shar's. YEAH!! So happy to be in the true whole grain bread making business - I should be able to pick up the setup Wednesday. Yummy!!
