... for reminding me that bath time is fun time, too.
Today, I called our (amazing, wonderful) nanny, Tiffany, from work to check on something. The boys were taking a day time bath after getting all sweaty from some serious outdoor playtime (yes, people ... summer is officially here). Jared and Will were having a blast. Tiffany pulled out all the stops ... water color fizzies, bathtub paints ... so fun!
So, naturally tonight, we had the encore performance of their bathtub art project.
Generally, with small children, by the time baths roll around in the evenings, I am eagerly looking forward to tucking their sweet, little faces into bed. Today was a good reminder for me live in the moment and to really let these boys (and myself) have fun with the process.
No doubt, being a mom of small children is tiring, but it is also really, really fun.
