Aww... Lubby. I returned home from work today to find him like this. So stinkin' cute - all stretched out like that. I have to smile at the interesting choice Tim made for his sleepwear. And, say a silent prayer of thanksgiving that he is sleeping so well.
He needs it.
He has gone from our cute, happy baby, to one we fondly refer to now as our "two foot tyrant". Not only is being one HARD, he has been sick off and on for what has seemed like a long time. He is partway through his 4th round of antibiotics since November for recurrent ear infections (and, yes, he has VERY little dairy). On Saturday, the pediatrician said his ears were worse (as if that was possible) AND he had RSV. And then, three days later ... our whole house goes down with the stomach flu, leaving him feeling very attention deprived. Poor baby. He has been one needy, little man.
The good thing about babies is that they go to sleep early. Giving their mommies lots of time to reflect on how cute they are (while sleeping, of course) and recharge to get ready to love their cranky, hineys all over again tomorrow.
I'll be honest, though, I'm ready for this sicky season to be over. Enough of the runny noses already! :-)
