I was inspired by Christine's post a while back on
"Tangrams". Considering I have no preschool teaching background, I confess that I had no idea what a tangram was before seeing the post, but it sure looked like a fun preschool activity for her son, David, and I Will would love it too.
Fast forward to a few weeks ago when my Aunt Daphne had another load of educational games and clothes from her son, Christopher, to hand down to the boys. Guess what? One of the boxes was a full set of tangram cards and pieces. How fun is that?
Leave it to the best preschool teacher ever to point us in the right direction for some fun, at home, learning activities! Will worked hard on the set and loved it.
I'm so grateful for these few days I get at home with Will. I confess that a lot of his time he is just hanging as I am getting stuff done and I feel bad about it. All that makes me all the more grateful for Christopher's hand me downs to give us some engaging activities to focus on. :-)

Stacy, I won a giant floor puzzle that has different shapes to make all kinds of designs. It's like what he is doing except on a bigger scale. It just arrived today so anytime we can get together I can't wait to give it to them. http://www.amazon.com/Learning-Resources-Giant-Pattern-Blocks/dp/B000RYBEJU
