Lucky Will got to go to an extra day of preschool today so that Caleb and I could drive and chaperone another field trip for Jared's Kindergarten class ...
Today's trip was to
California Pizza Kitchen ... the kids got to make their own pizzas.
Even Caleb - although he mostly ate the cheese off his until I finally took it away ...
They gave the kids a tour of the kitchen and let them go inside the commercial fridge and freezer (oh how this brought back memories of my serving days!)
... and showed the kids the big pizza oven.
The pizzas were delicious. Jared went crazy on the pepperoni and ate his ENTIRE pizza.
Caleb just about finished his too.
It was a fun morning. I wasn't sure how Caleb would do as he's been super cranky and not feeling well (Dr. said croup virus on Monday). Lucky for us Caleb loves being out and about - even when he's not 100%. I'm so glad I could go, lucky me. :-)
