This is the face ...

... of a very unhappy one year old whose Mommy won't let him anywhere near the paint and my current project. (poor kid, can you blame him for trying when this is the closest he's ever gotten to finger painting?)

I put the finishing touches on this toy box I am repainting to coordinate with the navy, white, and lime green theme I'm doing in Caleb's nursery (yes, I know - he's 15 months - and yet, I WILL finish his nursery ... better late than never). Tim handled the spray paint for me over the weekend as it was a little much for this pregnant mama. I'm re-painting the letters.

LinkThe snacks and paci only kept him occupied for so long. Poor kid. Crabby Caleb, croup, and non-stop projects have made for an unhappy combo for the poor, dissatisfied kid. Trust me when I say that there is no stopping me, though. I will not be deterred. :-)

PS: I think JJ might be partly to blame for my new inspiration (obsession) with spray paint. Ever since she had us over for this fun craft, I've been on a spray paint tear - my exterior lights, Tim's lamp, the boys' shelves, and this toy box. Next up is to finish the actual painting of Caleb's room that stalled out a month or so ago (no spray paint though). And then ... I can actually hang pictures on the wall of his room (affectionately referred to the other night as "that storage closet you call a room for Caleb" Ha ha!)
