I am madly crossing projects off the list with some serious help from that cute husband. It was a BUSY Saturday over here. Despite still being a bit sore from a fall on Thursday night, today the boys and I planted seeds in the garden, Tim worked on cleaning out the garage, and we finished painting and hanging several of our outside lights.

After we finished the stucco, paint, and roof on our house this spring, we decided the boring white coach lights flanking our garage door really needed some attention. We bought some oil rubbed bronze spray paint for this little project months ago! Last week, I got started on painting the front entry light (that had been down since FEBRUARY!) and several other metal projects. I tell you, I am so motivated to obliterate all these unfinished things!
I'm pretty much in love with this paint ...
... as it turned these babies ...

Into this.
And, well ... we did a few ...
By dusk, Tim was finishing up the hanging in front.

Simple project, it took several hours and about $24 worth of paint (we already had) to refurbish 6 light fixtures and a desk lamp. I'm sure there are more updated fixtures we could have purchased for much more money, but I'm happy with the results! Now ... what to tackle next ...

For dinner, my parents stopped by with chili and cornbread and more gifts from Uncle James & Aunt Daphne and the boys just about had another Christmas!

And, Jared got some more birthday love as my parents were in Hawaii on his actual birthday (lucky ducks!)
... and his #6 shirt - because you can't have a birthday without a shirt to announce the occasion!

After my mom and dad left the boys had fun with their new toys. Tim and I continue to be so struck by three boys playing together. Caleb is really getting in there and playing now with his big brothers. He is so big, too!
