Once I figured out how easy it was to mix a homemade all-purpose kitchen cleaner with stuff I already had around the house (water, white vinegar, borax, & dish soap), I opted out of buying this from the store. Not only is it cheap, it's also non-toxic and safe for the kids to use. And if you haven't figured it out by now, if I can easily make something instead of buy it - I will.
An added benefit: it's proven to be endless fun for the boys as the spray, wipe and repeat. Earlier today, I had them cleaning off their own grubby finger prints from our doors and doorjambs - here they are working the kitchen table.
They sure do love that spray bottle.
Looks fun, doesn't it? Kinda makes you want to get your gloves on and get to work, right?
Yeah ... me neither.
But it does make me smile. Love these two boys.
