I LOVE Saturday Mornings ...

Most Saturday's, my sweet husband will whip up us all a batch of what we fondly refer to in the Barrett house as "DADDY PANCAKES!" The boys love helping out on "Daddy Pancake Day". They get to add the ingredients for this delicious whole grain blender pancake recipe, sometimes embellished by a few of Daddy's secret ingredients.








































So fun for all of them - especially the Jared & Will. You can't really tell from these pictures, but they just adore their Daddy and hang on every step required to create their little culinary masterpiece. They wouldn't even take their eyes off him long enough to mug for the camera!





















Afterward, the boys even pitch in to help clean up the mess. Granted, they don't always do it perfect, but the point is - Team Effort people, Team Effort!

Following breakfast, lots of wrestling and hiding and seeking all over the house ensues. I love hearing the sounds of big roars from large lions and small lions, alike, and big belly laughs from every room in my house.

I mean, seriously, what is there NOT to LOVE about Saturdays? So fun.
